“Entourage” star Kevin Dillon is down to do another movie or show.

The legendary HBO show ended back in 2011 and then a movie came out in 2015. Ever since the movie, there has always been chatter about a potential second film or a reboot. (REVIEW: ‘Westworld’ Season 3 Ends With The Possible Deaths Of Multiple Characters)

It hasn’t happened yet, but Dillon would like to see a reboot centered around Drama struggling after finally getting some major success.

Dillon told ScreenRant.com the following in part about potentially doing a new film with Drama down in the dumps:

I’d like to think if we were doing reboot, I’d like to think somehow he’s struggling again, because I love a struggling Johnny Drama. If he’s too successful, I don’t know, I think I prefer to watch him fighting for everything. Yeah, he won the Golden Globe, but maybe his career, he’s like in a hole and he’s back to the old Drama stuff again. Then again, Doug Ellin might see it differently and, ‘You’re on top of the world.’ I don’t know, who knows, but I do love a struggling Drama.”

I would watch the hell out of any new “Entourage” series or movie. The series was one of the best shows ever made, and it never pulled any punches.

It also launched Jeremy Piven into legit superstardom after his run as Ari Gold. I’d argue nobody’s career benefited more than his.

Seeing as how comedy is constantly under attack these days, we need a show like “Entourage” more than ever before. It was funny, edgy and wasn’t afraid to offend the world.

Unfortunately, we really don’t have that much anymore other than “South Park.” Plus, if it’s about Drama down in the dumps, it’s even funnier.

As Dillon pointed out, Drama’s by far and away his most entertaining when things aren’t going well and he’s in Vince’s shadow.

Will we eventually get a new “Entourage” project? I certainly hope so, but I’m also not holding my breath.
