The Houston Police Department say they’ve charged 33-year-old Patrick Xavier Clark with murder in the shooting death of Migos rapper Takeoff on Nov. 1, TMZ reported.

Court documents reveal prosecutors are requesting bail be set at $1 million. They’re also asking the judge to issue an order that would prohibit Clark from making contact with Takeoff’s family, J. Prince Jr. and his family, and Shakur Stevenson and people from his work, according to TMZ.

Prosecutors are also requesting Clark be placed on mandatory house arrest if he makes bail. Prosecutors said Clark applied for an expedited passport immediately after Takeoff’s murder, according to TMZ. He allegedly had an itinerary for a flight to Mexico as well as a new passport and a large sum of money in his possession when he was arrested, according to court documents procured by TMZ.

Takeoff was partying with friends, including fellow Migos member Quavo, at a local bowling alley when gunfire erupted. Someone in the group became involved in a physical altercation, but Takeoff was not part of the argument. Police said he was an innocent bystander and was unarmed at the time he was shot, according to TMZ. (RELATED: The Identity Of A$AP Rocky’s Alleged Shooting Victim Is Revealed – And He’s Suing)

The famous rapper was shot in the head and the torso and was pronounced dead at the scene. Nearly 30 people were in attendance when the violence unfolded, and almost all of them left without giving a formal statement to police, according to TMZ. Two other people suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
