Bill Cosby is facing five new rape charges from five different women, who recently filed a lawsuit against the disgraced comedian.
The women claim the former star of “The Cosby Show” befriended them and approached them as a friend and mentor and that they believed Cosby was assisting them in entering the world of show business. Instead, they allege, he proved to be a predator, TMZ reported.
The plaintiffs were identified as Lili Bernard, Eden Tirl, Jewel Gittens, Jennifer Thompson and Cindra Ladd, according to TMZ.

Bernard, who guest starred in a 1992 episode of “The Cosby Show,” alleges that Cosby drugged her and assaulted her repeatedly and that, when she woke up while being raped, Cosby tried to smother her with a pillow, according to legal documents procured by TMZ.
Bernard claims she threatened to tell the police what Cosby did to her. In response, she claims, Cosby threw her down a flight of stairs and threatened her, causing her to fear for her life, according to TMZ.
Tirl alleges that, while she was filming a bit part for an episode of “The Cosby Show,” she was escorted to Cosby’s dressing room, where he grabbed her breasts and pressed his penis into her back. (RELATED: Canadian Rockstar Jacob Hoggard Sentenced To Five Years In Prison For Sexual Assault)

Gittens filed paperwork alleging that Cosby drugged her at his home during a discussion about a possible role on “The Cosby Show” and proceeded to force her to masturbate him, according to TMZ.
Ladd claimed she was raped by Cosby after being given a pill for a headache that made her pass out, the outlet reported.
Cosby has denied all allegations brought forth against him, including the most recent ones.
Cosby was previously sentenced to a 10-year prison term in Pennsylvania, but was later released because prosecutors violated an immunity deal Cosby reached with another district attorney, according to TMZ.
