Disney added a new “Courtesy” update to its “Know Before You Go” section on its website in December after a series of fights and physical altercations occurred throughout its parks in 2022.

Disney and the Walt Disney World websites issued updates to remind guests that certain behavior could get them kicked out of their parks.

“We ask all who come to this happy place to treat others with respect, kindness, and compassion,” the Disneyland update reads, hyperlinking to an expanded list of guest courtesy rules.

“Please show common courtesy to fellow Guests and our Cast Members by not using profanity or engaging in unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behavior, jumping lines or saving places in lines for others,” the wider rule states. “For your safety and the safety of others, please refrain from running.”

Disney World in Florida issued a similar update, asking guests to “be the magic they want to see in the world.” Anyone who can’t live up to this rule will be asked to leave the resort, the website notes. (RELATED: British IT Exec Dies Of Fentanyl Poisoning At Disney World: Report)

Fights have reportedly broken out at various Disney World attractions, including Fantasyland, Toy Story Land and parts of EPCOT and the Magic Kingdom, the New York Post reported. The California-based parks have also been home to a heightened number of physical altercations, with a fight breaking out on Memorial Day, Fox 11 reported.
