Johnson posted a single photograph that showed a red, newer model Cadillac with major front-end damage. The front end and passenger quarter panel were completely crumpled, as was the hood of the vehicle. The front right tire was completely blown out and the side impact air bags of the vehicle were visibly deployed. The driver’s side cabin area looked to be completely intact and preserved, offering hope to viewers that his mother had been spared serious injury.

“This woman has survived lung cancer, tough marriage, head on collision with a drunk driver and attempted suicide,” Johnson wrote. “She’s a survivor, in ways that make angels and miracles real.” (RELATED: ‘I Just Want To Be A Good F*cking Actor’: Marvel Star Pushes Back Against Comparisons To The Rock)

“Thank you LAPD & LAFD for being so caring & focused. Thanks for staying on phone and talking me thru it all,” he wrote.

Johnson concluded his post with a heartfelt message to his 361 million fans about how he’s feeling amid this sensitive situation.

“I got one parent left, so if you still got your mom and dad make sure you hug ‘em hard, cos you never know when you’ll get that 3am call we never want to get,” he said.
