WWE Sees Huge Jump In Ratings For Iconic WrestleMania Pay-Per-View

It’s safe to say that WrestleMania 39 was an outright hit.

WrestleMania 39 — which took place at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles — aired on NBCUniversal’s Peacock exclusively for a viewing audience at home, and the ratings for the two-day event were absolutely brilliant.

On night one (Saturday) of the event, WrestleMania pulled in a 28% increase from 2022, while the Sunday night show that featured the headline main event between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes pulled in a 33% uptick from last year, according to an official WWE press release.

Bringing in over 500 million views, the sports entertainment giant is calling it the most successful WrestleMania of all time.

WrestleMania 39 is now the most successful and highest-grossing event in company history. The two-night event got a total of 161,892 fans in attendance.

The event generated a gate of more than $21.6m.

Sponsorship revenue was more than $20m.

Overall, I thought WrestleMania 39 was great.

I was gutted the first night after The Usos lost their belts (I’m a huge Bloodline fan), and I went into the second night being quite pessimistic as a result thinking that Roman Reigns’ era was coming to an end and Cody Rhodes was going to be the new Undisputed WWE Universal Champion (it just looked like WWE was booking it that way). And thank the Lord that I was wrong! So, so wrong!

Oh, man. It was fantastic.

Ahh… I love my Tribal Chief.

And then everything was made even better the next night on Raw with Brock Lesnar absolutely destroying Cody:

Roman Reigns and The Bloodline remain a dynasty, baby.
