Hunter Dickinson has officially made his decision!

The best player in college basketball’s transfer portal and debatably the most pursuited in the NIL era, former Michigan star center Hunter Dickinson announced Thursday that he is transferring to Kansas.

A junior and listed as the immediate No. 1-ranked player available, Dickinson entered the transfer portal at the end of March. Along with the Jayhawks, the 7-foot-1 big man also visited Kentucky, Villanova, Georgetown and Maryland.

Dickinson made his announcement on Twitter in a … erm … bit of a corny video, but it was an announcement:

Holy cow … I’m not gonna lie, I cringed the whole way through that video. The whole thing was just corny.

But regardless, what an excellent pickup by the Kansas Jayhawks. Not only is Dickinson a 7-foot-1 big man, but he nearly averaged a double-double with Michigan last season averaging 18.5 PPG and 9.0 RPG. And the fact that he did that with Michigan and is now going to be surrounded by better talent at Kansas, he’ll probably get past that double-double mark next season. (RELATED: EW! And he’s certainly going to need the basketball clout, because Hollywood surely won’t be hitting him up anytime soon about his on-camera skills. Lord have mercy, I can’t get over how bad that announcement video was.

But I digress (again) … and also again, fantastic pickup by the Jayhawks.

But seriously though, Hunter, and I beg you … never, ever, ever do a video like that again.

Just stick to basketball, king.
