Video shared online Monday showed multiple cars on fire during an illegal street takeover in Oakland, California, in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Footage shared online by a slew of social media users and local news outlets showed the moment the driver of a Subaru repeatedly rammed into one of the burning cars at the “Crash Champions” illegal sideshow in Oakland. Bits of burning debris can be seen scattering the roadway and sidewalk, while other videos showed someone setting of a load off fireworks toward cars throughout the area.

The sideshow led to mass chaos in the area as people got out of their vehicles to light fireworks or film the scene, ABC7 reported. Video shared by the outlet revealed that multiple other cars caught fire during the takeover, which was eventually shut down by local law enforcement.

Officers reported seeing dozens of vehicles and spectators engaged in illegal activity, but there are no reports of arrests having taken place following the arrival of police, ABC7 noted. Apparently this was one of many illegal sideshows taking place through Oakland on Friday night and Saturday morning. At least one social media user claimed that the crowd of people hurled bottles at the officers who responded to the scene. It’s unclear whether anyone was hurt.
