Twitter user @enlightenedcoop shared her “Dream BF” list on Twitter, Wednesday, and the replies are absolutely *chef’s kiss.*
Cooper’s list has been viewed by more than 5.4 million Twitter users, thousands of whom retweeted, replied and bookmarked the post. I can’t quite tell if the list is a joke or not, but either way, it’s entertaining.
According to Cooper, her dream boyfriend is roughly six feet tall, makes between $300,000 and $500,000 a year, is ambitious, driven, between 27 and 33 years old and has brown eyes. Considering that a friend once told me she’d never date a guy who made less than $5 million a year, I thought the financial part of the list was fair (though not something I’d personally care about).
But then things got way more specific:

It seemed like Twitter users were pretty torn over the content of the list. Some joined in on the fun, saying “I just want a guy to text me back,” or responding with their own list. “People are laughing at this, but this is literally the list of qualifications to even be considered for a mortgage right now,” one user responded with heaps of laughing-face emojis.
But others really seemed to take Cooper’s dreams too seriously. “It’s great to make tweets like these because now anyone who ever loves you will have a public record of all the ways they fall short in your eyes,” one man wrote in response to the list.

“Good news: I actually know where your mans is at this very moment,” another replied, before noting, “Bad news: He just left Monaco after the GP with his show stopping heiress GF on her dad’s 100ft yacht. He’s very busy securing the bag right now, but I’ll let him know you’re on the market.
Despite what feels like countless replies mocking Cooper, there seemed to be just as many saying nice things or going along with her commentary. It was oddly lovely to see such a funny debate break out online without it leading to death threats, cruel cynicism or personal insults (though I’m sure there were some I missed).
