Republican South Carolina Rep. Nance Mace recounted a frisky story with her fiancé at a prayer breakfast on Thursday morning.

When speaking at the breakfast, Mace told the audience about her wakeup call with her fiancé after thanking the hosts of the event. Republican Senator from South Carolina and presidential candidate Tim Scott hosted the 13th annual event, according to FITSNews.

“I woke up this morning at seven.” She told the group. “I was getting picked up at 7:45. Patrick, my fiancé, tried to pull me by my waist over this morning in bed, and I was like ‘no baby. We ain’t got time for that this morning.’ I gotta get to the prayer breakfast, and I gotta be on time.”

After saying this, she described her story as a “little TMI” but added that her fiancé “[could] wait.” She “was early” for the breakfast in the end. Most of the crowd, including Scott, reportedly laughed at the incident, although some were in shock at the personal story, FITSNews reported.

Mace has been speculated to be on the shortlist for the vice-president position on a former President Donald Trump national ticket. That is in-spite of her victory over a heavily Trump backed primary challenge last spring, where she then went on to win a purple county by 14 percentage point, according to the FITSNews report.
