Conservative commentator Glenn Beck said he believes the United States is moving towards a “global war” during Wednesday’s episode of “The Megyn Kelly Show.”
“You can’t have Hezbollah in the north, Hamas on the south and what will be the IRGC [Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps] coming in from the Syrian side,” Beck said. “It’s going to overwhelm Israel, and, honestly, it will take a miracle to keep us out of World War III, I think. However, miracles have happened with Israel over and over again.”
Beck argued the U.S. is “headed for a global war” rather than “just a regional war.” He characterized the current state of affairs as a “blessing” in a “dark way,” pointing out “there is good and evil, and it is clear.”
“This is the first time in human history, that I know of, somebody has said who they are and then proven it,” Beck added. (RELATED: Hamas Spokesperson Claims They Have Been Planning Israel Attack For Two Years)
“We know what they say,” he continued. “We know what they do. They put it on social media. They wanted the world to see it. So, this goes into not only who Hamas is, but who is Iran, who is Hezbollah, who is the IRGC, who is Black Lives Matter. Who are the people that are in our own Congress, in our own schools, that are endorsing this or turning a blind eye?”
Israel declared war on Islamic terrorist group Hamas after they attacked the country at daybreak Saturday with 5,000 rockets. Since then, there have been over 1,000 murdered in Israel, thousands more injured and at least 150 hostages taken. At least 25 American citizens are among those dead following Hamas’ terrorist attack, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Thursday.
Beck said he believes this is the U.S.’ “last [chance] to actually get off of that death train and step onto a platform of truth.” He argued “incompetent” President Joe Biden “screwed this country up so many different ways,” causing an “unprepared” military and potential shortages.
“We are sitting back the way we were, maybe right before World War I,” Beck said. “That’s not a good place to be.”
