Man, Philadelphia is doing James Harden so wrong…

We have more juicy details about the ongoing drama between the Philadelphia 76ers and James Harden, and how the franchise didn’t allow the All-Star to travel with the team to Milwaukee for a game against the Bucks.

When Harden showed up for the team flight, he was “stopped by a security official who notified him that he was not permitted to accompany the team,” according to Bleacher Report.

The outlet also added that both Sixers head coach Nick Nurse and general manager Elton Brand told Harden that the team’s plan for him was to stay in Philly and work out at the franchise’s practice site so they could monitor “his measurables and speed with their tracking system” — this apparently because he’s been away from the team.

Philadelphia’s reputation of being a dysfunctional franchise is showing…

I mean, my God, you talk about a horrible way to deal with this situation if you’re the 76ers.

They were the ones who started this whole thing by not trading him like the two sides agreed to, completely lying to him and screwing him over to get him to opt in to his current contract. And then this is how you react to him wanting to play AFTER YOU CRAPPED ALL OVER HIM AND PISSED HIM OFF? By getting SECURITY TO STOP HIM from getting on the plane with his teammates? And then using some bull-ish excuse like “he needs to work out”?

“The Beard” has his faults here too, sure, but the 76ers are handling this entire thing disastrously. Good lord.

Just trade the man … y’all are doing this dude so wrong. No wonder he pooh-poohed all over your franchise.
