“Dad, I just got in a helicopter crash. I’m stuck in a building and I’m really high up,” one passenger was reported to say in a video taken from inside the helicopter. “I’m going to live through this Dad, I just want to say I love you. I’m stuck in a telephone pole.”

The clip began with a helicopter ascending from near a building when it started to spiral in the air and descend in altitude. The aircraft can be seen hitting a pole and then a building. The helicopter’s tail was seen in the video wedged between the swaying telephone pole and the building.

The video then picked up at a different angle and moment of what appeared to be emergency responders below the crash site and on the roof of the building next to the crashed helicopter.

Medellín’s Department of Disaster Risk Management tweeted out their thanks to the various departments and agencies such as the police and Ministry of Health that participated in the rescue operation.

Authorities have opened up an investigation over the cause of the accident, Sky News reported.
