Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie XO, marked the one-year anniversary of her retirement from the sex industry after spending years working as a high-end escort.

She reflected on the milestone by posting a message to Facebook alongside her 2023 announcement that she was changing her lifestyle. “Awww a year ago I retired from the SW [sex work] industry,” she wrote to her social media account. “I was SO scared to let go of that part of my life & leave behind the money I was making — wasn’t sure how I’d make up that part of my business. But I had faith & let God have it & he made sure I made it back 10 fold 😭.”

“So thankful to all of you who believe in me & sub to my patreon, buy merch, listen to the pod & engage daily w/ me. THANK YOU 🤍” she added, showing gratitude to her followers and supporters.

Since shutting down her career as an escort, Bunnie XO launched “The Dumb Blonde” podcast, where she openly shares stories about her sex work experiences. She said her work as an escort made her the breadwinner before Jelly Roll found success in the music industry, according to People.

Some of Bunnie’s fans questioned her for saying she’s been out of the sex industry for a year, yet had been married to Jelly Roll since 2016. She took to social media to clarify her position. (RELATED: Jelly Roll Gives Emotional Testimony About Scourge Of Fentanyl Before Congress)

“I have always worked & made money on my own, when I married J I refused to give up my independence & rely solely on him,” she wrote on Facebook.

“And to be honest he never once asked me to. He knew how important it was to me to make my own money. But he did always say, ‘One day baby you won’t have to do this anymore.'”

She explained in her post that she began building her brand, Bunnie XO, in 2018 and funded it from money earned doing sex work. She retired from being an escort two years later, shifting to OnlyFans.

“2020 came around and I retired from seeing clients & having sugar daddies & started my Onlyfans which made me millions,” Bunnie XO wrote on Facebook.

“It was crazy the amount of money that site made me in such a short time,” she continued.

She shut that down entirely when her Bunnie XO brand took off.

“I also didn’t want to be the only wife in the country music scene whose butthole was on the internet. 🤣 ” she wrote.

“But my husband never once asked me to give up anything in my life,” she added. “So I decided to retire & 100% immerse myself into the Bunnie Xo brand in 2023. Best decision I ever made. The rest is history baby! 💋”
