Police bodycam footage shows the moment officers saved an elderly woman from the ledge of a burning building.

Officers Marcolini, Manzanedo and Silva were acknowledged for their bravery after their heroic efforts, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD). The video shows the officers thinking on their feet to get the woman down from the second floor of the building engulfed in flames.

The incident occurred in Dec. 2023, according to Fox 9. Authorities said the officers saw the fire when they were finishing their shift, and that is when they spotted the woman stranded on the balcony of the second floor, the outlet reported.

In the video, the officers can be seen working together to come up with solutions and attempting to keep the elderly woman calm during the dire situation.

“The dumpster! The dumpster! Grab the dumpster,” says the officer wearing the bodycam.

The video then shows the officers positioning a dumpster under the ledge where the officer climbs up to collect the elderly woman. The officer wearing the camera can be seen reaching up to grab the elderly woman and pulling her down to safety. (RELATED: Massive Fire At Famous Actress’ Mansion Leaves Firefighter Injured, Officials Say)
