The trailer for “KAOS” starring Jeff Goldblum as Zeus, King of the Gods, dropped Tuesday, and it looks totally and utterly insane.

Violence, civilization destruction, pandemonium in the street and a very serious Goldblum as a modern reimagining of the Greek God Zeus? Yeah, the trailer for “KAOS” is absolute chaos, and it looks freaking brilliant.

“You can expect Zeus to exude quirky charm as he rocks enviable tracksuits,” wrote Netflix in the press release for the series. “But Zeus is also an all-powerful being who’s determined to hold onto that status by any means necessary. When Zeus asks for respect, it’s a command, not a request.”

The series is described as a dark comedy about the pantheon of Gods, mortals and those who exist in between. As Zeus is top of the chain, and has been forever, he’s horrified to discover a wrinkle on his forecast. As paranoia builds, Zeus descends into his own type of madness. And it couldn’t come at a worse time. Zeus’ one-time friend and prisoner, Prometheus, is trying to bring him down with the help of three totally unwitting humans.

Featuring David Thewlis as Hades, Cliff Curtis as Poseidon and a whole host of other cast members, this series looks and sounds incredibly fun. (RELATED: ‘Dumb Money’ Is Probably Most Important Film In Modern History Because It Shows You How The World Really Works)

The series was created by writer of “The End of the Fucking World” and produced by the same team who brought us “Chernobyl.” The series should drop at some point in 2024.
