Mike McDaniel … an absolute G.

Superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill recently revealed that his head coach Mike McDaniel laid him out after the Miami Dolphins took a playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

In what was just an outright painful game as a Dolphins fan, my Phins took a 26-7 shellacking in the wild card round against Patrick Mahomes & Co., with Hill having an average game at best with 62 receiving yards and a touchdown — the only TD that Miami scored the entire game. Well, with McDaniel being the head coach, he obviously wasn’t happy with Hill’s showing, so how did he respond?

By questioning Tyreek regarding why the Dolphins pay him so much money. Oh yeah, the skipper kept things real. And Hill himself, he appreciated it.

“‘You’re supposed to be the fucking best player in the fucking league and you got this guy putting hands all over you. We pay you all this money for what?’ And for me, I love shit like that because I’m going to take that shit to heart and I’m going to get better from it,” said Hill while being interviewed on the “Million Dollaz Worth Of Game” podcast.
